Cancel Backordered Items/orders in Marlo

Customers are requesting the ability to cancel items that are currently on backorder from an existing order,
So that I can manage my open orders and avoid receiving products I no longer need.
I am only able to submit for one market. But this is for multiple markets. Brazil brought it to the table but I would request the same function for US, CA, MX, LATAM. I would also ask the international markets if they see potential from this.
Currently, customers may have orders containing items that are placed on backorder (BO). If a customer decides they no longer want the backordered item after the original order was submitted, they need the ability to cancel only the backordered portion of the order within Marlo.
Example Scenario:
Customer places an order on February 26.
One or more items are placed on backorder.
In March, the customer determines they no longer need the backordered item(s).
Customer can access the order in Marlo and cancel the eligible backordered item(s) without impacting items already shipped or fulfilled.
Improves customer self-service capabilities.
Reduces customer service inquiries and manual cancellation requests.
Enhances customer satisfaction by providing greater control over backordered products.

Hi Miranda,
This functionality is not possible technically. This is because once an order is sent to SAP, the only way to adjust or cancel a part of an order is to do so directly in SAP. There is no two way communication between SAP and MARLO so that if something needs to be adjusted, it is reflected in both places. The only possible solve would be if MARLO sends an alert to Cust Service for their action directly in SAP, which does not address the automation point.
