Description:
As part of the ongoing project to create an order platform within Marlo, we need to define product accessibility rules depending on the type of client — whether they are an optician or an ophthalmologist.
Initially, it was suggested to manage these rules directly from SAP. However, this is not a viable solution because a product not available on MARLO does not necessarily mean it should also be unavailable through other ordering channels. Therefore, SAP cannot be the single source of truth for product availability on MARLO.
Proposed Solution:
Following discussions with the development team, we understand that MARLO already supports client-level configuration with the following flags:
• Dry Eye Products Enabled?
• Lens Care Products Enabled?
• Trial Lens Enabled?
• Revenue Lens Enabled?
Request:
Currently, the Lens Care Products flag does not distinguish between Trial and Revenue. This distinction is essential to support all potential ordering scenarios in France.
➡️ We request that two separate rules be implemented for Lens Care Products:
• One for Trial Lens Care Products
• One for Revenue Lens Care Products
