Misayo Hara apologies for the delay, I'm fully on subscriptions :-) I think this feature did not exist in MARLO JP, right? Can you please add details? would it the equivalent of 'from A to Z', 'Z to A'? As ECP can also use the search bar, I think this would not be a critical blocker. Thanks

Hi Misayo Hara thinking again about this one, right now this would not work as the name column contains 'Last name, First name (Kana last name Kana first name)' name. I think allowing to sort by Kana names could mean: 1) changing 'Last name, First name (Kana last name, Kana first name)' to 'Kana last name Kana first name (Last name, First name)' or 2) adding a separate column to host Kana names. Either way, I think it will require some resources, so please explain the rationale as to why it should be prioritized. Thanks

In Japan, the Kana Last Name would be the most common key to be used when searching names, which I am certain the percentage would be 99%.  So the main key should be Kana Last Name, and the sorting order is in Japanese alphabets.
Current behavior　with　the　sorting　option　is　based　in　Chinese　characters　which　is　totally　irrelevant　with what Japanese would expect to see (which makes no sense to the audience...).

Misayo Hara: ok thanks, this means that this option seems to be the most relevant one - for My Patients tab: 1) changing 'Last name, First name (Kana last name, Kana first name)' to 'Kana last name Kana first name (Last name, First name)' . Let me add to the backlog and discuss with the team. As a reminder, due to B2B2C subscription feature build, this one will take a bit of time.
In terms of order, can you confirm it's this: 
Arrow down, equivalent to 'A to Z': see screenshot.
Arrow up, equivalent to 'Z to A': the other way round

The 1st letter is "a", followed by "i", "u", "e", "o", "ka"....
So it goes top bottom from the far left.
